Summary ID 49 Episode 13 Men play doubles Author RyomaE64 Episode Summary In the last episode, Ryoma and Takeshi face two street boys in doubles, but they end up losing. The next day, Seigaku goes against a new school, and the first doubles team, Ryoma and Takeshi. These two people have horrible teamwork, and are wondering why the coach put them together. When starting their match, they find out that the doubles team there going against are the two street boys! Knowing new skills, Ryoma and Takeshi take them head on. After a few points, Ryoma and Takeshi use their new tactic. Since they have horrible teamwork, they now what to do in order to actually hit the ball back. When the ball is hit toward the middle of the two, one of them will yell "Ah!" The other, hearing this, will return "Un!" The person who says "Ah," will hit the ball, and the other will stay back. This tactic works for a while, but soon, the street boys show their tactic, Double Net. Both of them get onto the net area! Almost defeated, Ryoma comes up with a brilliant idea. While during break time, he draws a line straight down the center of the court, from the net to the base. He tells Takeshi to play singles on his side of the court. If the ball lands on Ryoma's side, he'll hit it. This new tactic works extremely well, and the news reporter explains that this way, they are just playing singles with two people!
